In the action-packed chase issue, Vampirella meets up with the Zelators, nasty half-dead cultists out for blood. Her drive takes her just outside Coogan's Bluff, a town she's inexplicably drawn to. On her way, she meets up with Will, the kind truck driver who takes in the hitchhiker, Connor and Jody, the mother and son being chased by the Zelators for reasons that will haunt her in the near future. Also, she finally comes face-to-face with Agents Mulligan and O'Hare. And she really doesn't like what they have to say.
