One of the things that has always
astounded me regarding Vampirella's world is the way
her supporting characters seem to ignore the fact
she is wearing virtually nothing! After all, her classic
red costume can so skimpy that it is virtually non-existent!
A couple of strategically placed ribbons and an armband
- and that's about it. Why doesn't anyone comment
on the fact she isn't really wearing all that much?
Are they all blind? Or just too polite to speak up?
The closest example of seeing characters behave as
if her costume actually exists is in Vengeance of
Vampirella #11, when Danser Wild (one of the secret
agents in the Danse Macabre) is crawling along a passage
directly behind Vampirella. He can't help himself
from commenting on the great view!
